Sparker aircraft has won a Gold Medal at the Engineering Fair
The Sparker ultralight aircraft "flew" for the Gold Medal of the International Engineering Fair. The aircraft was lent to the exhibition by the TL-ULTRALIGHT company from Hradec Králové, which collaborated on the development of the aircraft with experts from the Aviation Institute of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VUT in Brno.
Without a doubt, the most interesting exhibit at this year's VUT stand is the blue-and-white sport aircraft. Specifically, it is a Sparker type from czech manufacturer TL-ULTRALIGHT. Experts from the Aviation Institute of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of VUT participated in the development.
For the Aviation Institute and the TL-ULTRALIGHT company, it was a continuation of many years of cooperation in the field of development and research of the most modern sport aircraft.
The Sparker aircraft on display is one of the kind in its category, which was directly designed for the new regulations MTOW 600kg.
This resulted in an aircraft with a high degree of equipment, variability and comfort for traveling in long distance. The aircraft is already in the production, the company has so far sold around ten pieces to customers from Europe and the USA.

"In the Sparker aircraft, the company is getting a highly competitive product that combines high performance, suitable flight characteristics, an ergonomically optimized cockpit, the implementation of the latest avionics and, last but not least, favorable operating costs," says the CEO of TL-ULTRALIGHT Jiří Tlustý, adding that the large the number of innovative solutions applied from the initial design to serial production enabled the company to create a product that surpasses competing products with its performance and useful properties and defines the shape of a new generation of aircraft in the category. "We greatly appreciate the long-term cooperation with experts from the Aviation Institute, thanks to which it was possible to to realize and speed up the demanding process of development and certification verification of the Sparker aircraft," concludes Tlustý.
